Celebrating the best PR, social and experiential work in Aotearoa

About

The Pressie awards

The Pressie Awards celebrate the smartest PR, social and experiential thinking in Aotearoa.

They reward campaigns where strategy, storytelling and execution combined to amplify messages, foster genuine engagement and deliver measurable results — even in challenging environments.

Whether you’re in-house, agency-side or independent, the Pressies recognise work that shaped conversations and moved people to act.

Key details

Entry details & Key dates

Key information to help you understand who can enter, how work is judged, and the important dates to be aware of.

Eligibility

The Pressie Awards are open to PR, social and experiential campaigns produced and run in New Zealand, with demonstrable local impact.

Campaigns must have run, and delivered results, in Aotearoa between July 2024 and August 2025.

Entries are agency-blind. Agency names, logos or branding must not appear in written entries, campaign material or any judge-facing assets.

Companies, agencies, individuals and in-house teams may enter, and campaigns can be submitted into multiple categories, provided each entry is tailored to the specific category criteria.

Judging

Pressie entries are judged by senior PR, social and experiential practitioners from across the industry.

Judges assess entries against the specific criteria of the category entered, considering:

  • Strategic thinking

  • Quality of storytelling and execution

  • Innovation and creativity

  • Evidence of impact and results

Judging is independent and rigorous. Awards are not guaranteed, and judges may choose not to award metals if the required standard is not met.

All Gold winners are eligible for the Grand Prix, awarded to the campaign considered the strongest overall example of PR, experiential and social excellence.
